Cross-Platform Development

• Build and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Ionic, enabling cross-platform functionality on both iOS and Android devices.
• Write reusable, modular, and optimised code primarily in JavaScript, TypeScript, or HTML5/CSS3 to ensure a seamless experience across platforms.
• Utilise native APIs and plugins for device features like GPS, camera, and biometric authentication.

UI/UX Implementation

• Work with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI components, maintaining visual consistency across different devices and screen sizes.
• Develop responsive designs with animations and smooth transitions that enhance the user experience and make the app feel native to the platform.

Integration with Back-End Services

• Connect mobile applications with back-end services using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket for real-time data sync.
• Ensure efficient data handling and network performance, managing data caching and state effectively using tools like Redux or Context API.

Testing and Debugging

• Conduct extensive testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine for React Native.
• Debug and resolve issues related to platform compatibility, memory usage, and UI performance, ensuring a smooth, bug-free user experience.

Platform-Specific Customisations

• Write platform-specific code when necessary, utilising native code modules for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android when React Native or Ionic lacks functionality.
• Integrate platform-specific libraries and adapt features to meet the unique requirements of each platform.

Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD)

• Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment, using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Prepare applications for app store releases, following the guidelines and best practices for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Collaboration and Code Review

• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and project managers to align on project goals, timeline, and technical requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards, documentation, and code quality within the team.

Performance Optimisation

• Optimise the performance of mobile applications to enhance load times, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Implement lazy loading, caching strategies, and optimisation techniques to handle large data sets and improve the app’s responsiveness.

• Ensure data protection and app security by implementing best practices for encryption, secure storage, and authentication.
• Regularly update dependencies and third-party libraries to minimise vulnerabilities and maintain security compliance.

Stay Updated on Framework Changes

• Stay current with the latest updates in React Native, Ionic, and their respective ecosystems, such as new libraries, tools, and language features.
• Apply modern development practices, such as hooks in React Native or Capacitor updates in Ionic, to improve application quality and performance.

• Strong knowledge of React Native, Ionic Framework, and related technologies like Capacitor and Cordova.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and state management tools (e.g., Redux).
• Familiarity with native mobile app development (Swift, Objective-C for iOS and Java/Kotlin for Android) for integrating custom native components.
• Understanding of app release and versioning for app stores, CI/CD processes, and automated testing tools.
• Experience with Firebase, RESTful APIs, and other back-end integration methodologies.
